GruntvillE Takes their First Win in CoD4

Yep it's true, =GvL= takes our first win in CoD4 on TWL. The match was 6v6 Domination. I didn't get to play this one which I intended to, because I was AFK in the kitchen getting something to drink. They managed to fill my spot though and win the match.

Here is the post from our front page

We had our first Ladder match tonight in the 6v6 DOM Hardcore ladder and destroyed a team called RPI. It was 530 to 125 at half and double that at the end of the match. They of course disputed saying our server was to blame for their loss but it has already been declined and they have 24hrs to report their loss. I wouild say gg but they were really rude and made us wait 30 min to start and we had to get an admin to come in at half to get them to ready up. gg RPI, hope you treat future teams with a little more respect.

Research is fun

Well I got to do a little research on my upcoming Powerpoint presentation on John Baskerville, one of Typography's founding contributionists. I didn't really get much done since I spent most of Saturday playing Call of Duty 4 in prep for our match Sat night, and playing a little WoW. I worked on the garage all day Sunday. We managed to get the middle wall up, which divides the two bedrooms and started working on the framing for the side walls by cutting all the studs. It is really starting to shape up.

Oh and Photoshop decided to take a crap on me so I am currently uninstalling and reinstalling it right now. (what fun!!)

The Garage & lots of updates.

Well yesterday we spent all day working on getting the front wall up on the 2nd floor of our garage we are building. Just my, my brother David, and I. It seems we can't go one whole day working on it without arguing or getting into a disagreement on something. Anyways, I was very nervous when we stood that wall up, right there on the edge with 40 degree weather and the wind blowing. My hands were sweating ALOT, stomache uneasy and legs felt like they were going to crumble, but we managed to get it up and brace it in place. I will have to say, its quite something to stand back and look at. I took a few pictures which I will post sometime today (I hope)

On the other hand, its still cold as hell. Old man winter just won't let go. I keep hoping for that warm weather to come and allow me to ride around with the top down.

I got my old Trek MountainTrack 820 and put air in the tires and cleaned it up a bit. I am trying to get it back to working order so that it can be used again. I need to pick up some new handlebar grips, new chain, and a new seat for it. As soon as it warms up a bit I am going to start riding the Tom Brown Park mountainbike trail again.

As far as gaming stuff goes, played a little bit of Guitar Hero 3 last week. Blizzard just released a new patch for World of Warcraft (nothing special) and my team is back in action on Team Warfare League (TWL). I haven't been able to play any matches due to school and working on the garage, and looking for a new job.

I think that about covers it for now.
