I <3 Win7

I downloaded and installed Windows 7 RC 1 the other day with a little bit of skepticism inside me, now I can truthfully say, thus far, I am impressed. Yes it does resemble Windows Vista a bit, but it is by far, way better than vista.

As I am still playing with it and trying to find bugs and glitches, I do not have a more precise list of if/where it falls short.

Other than that, I am also learning to use Fedora 10 on my slow-ass laptop. Installing Flash Player and Java Runtime Environment has proven to be more of a headache than I would like. I did however get Flash Player installed with help from my brother, but after messing with JRE and going through a walktrough, I have not finished getting JRE installed. Hopefully I can get it worked out today.

Fedora Core 10

So I have been messing with Fedora Core 10 on my laptop recently, and thus far it isn't too bad, except I am not as familiar with it as I am with Windows XP. Learning to install stuff through the Terminal instead, but it does run a little bit smoother than XP on my slow-ass laptop.

Other than that, I have been messing around with my camera some more, trying different settings and such.

I changed over from Photobucket to Flickr, because Flickr is much better. Just search for me on Flickr.

Saturday is my birthday, another year come and gone, got a new 320gb SATA HDD, Sony 22x DvD burner, and 2 120mm blue LED case fans for my comp, also switched my computer over to my brothers Antec LANBoy case.

Back from Spring Break

Well it's been a week since I came back from my Spring Break trip. We had a blast in St Augustine.

I also deleted my Myspace accounts. I got sick of the bs, spam, and the fact I rarely use it. I'm not fond of the new Facebook layout though.

So it's back to life as usual, classes, working on the garage, spending time with my awesome girlfriend, etc.

Spring Break 09

Well it's 7 days and counting till Spring Break 09. This year I have exciting plans. I am going camping in St Augustine, FL with my girlfriend and her best friend. We will be roughing it at one of the state parks in St Augustine for 3 days and 3 nights. Should be a hell of a time. I will post pictures when I get back :D

Back in Black......ya, but seriously..

Ok, classes, girlfriend, and the garage we are building have kept me pretty busy lately. I have been up to my nose-hair in projects for my class. With a ad campaign as one project, and a brochure re-design as the other, I have been glued to my computer. Any time I am not working on stuff for my classes or working on the garage, I am spending with my AWESOME girlfriend who by the way ROCKS!!! We went to my mom's last weekend and she out-shot me with the bow. I blame it on the fact that it was a women's compound boy and not a guy's. But anywhoooooo, the garage is coming along. We are now putting the siding on the 2nd floor. We should be done with the siding in the next couple of weeks, pending good weather.

In other news, I finally updated Call of Duty World at War to patch 1.2, which btw was a HUGE PITA!! I also have been updating My DeviantArt page. Other than that, I am getting over being sick, sore throat, conjestion, etc SUCKS!!

As for gaming news, not much going on, =GvL= seems to be taking a break from competition due to dissapointment with CoDWaW.

Once again, I am going to try and update as much as possible, but nooooo promises.
